Review of Animal Kingdom (2010) by Eric R — 12 Mar 2011

I know this got really great reviews from the critics, but it just didn't do anything for me. It was slow and I really didn't get any emotional engagement. It was also the sort of movie where about 1/3 of the movie was shot in slow motion to give it a sense of more gravitas when it really only made it slow.

I was a little surprised by the ending, but not enough to make the movie worth it.
