Oh, I hate the milieu of the film (in general, not just in this paricular picture) and had it not been for the end and Jacki Weaver, I would've found it highly annoying. But that probably only shows its greatness, my palms were often itchy for slaps when some of the characters came on screen :) and Jacki Weaver really gives you the creeps with her performance.
