I failed to see this movie during the Oscar nomination period. It was on my list, but I didn't think Jackie Weaver would have won an Oscar over Annette Benning. I think Benning was the correct choice, but I now understand why Jacki was nominated in the first place.

She's one hella of a GRANDMOTHER! The Cody family is truly CRAZY. Each and everyone of them. Who really creeped me out was Pope ... yes that's his nickname. His character was downright weird. A great overall cast, especially with Guy Pearce in the ensemble performance but the plot was more than unique.
