Starts out great but about halfway through you realize the movie is just about what happens to a family of retarded criminals once the smartest one of them dies. The movie just tries too hard to defy your expectations that it even results in some funny moments.
All could've been better if the main character didn't act like he was suffering from head trauma the entire movie. No matter what happens he just stares blankly into the distance with his mouth open.
Jacki Weaver should've won the Oscar though.
