Dark and gritty Australian import about a family of crooks, people with very low and basic animal instincts. When his mother dies, an adolescent boy has no choice but to be immersed in this torrid universe, led by one of the darkest, calmest looking creeps ever: A grandma nicknamed "Mama Smurf".
The film presents us bluntly with a world where there is no right and wrong but only actions and reactions. Tough and very sad film.
