Review of Animal Kingdom (2010) by Scott R — 18 Sep 2011

There are so many crime movies out there, and it becomes more of a challenge to make one that stands out anymore. Animal Kingdom doesn't shake the world, but it definitely rocks the boat. The bleak tone and atmosphere mixed with the well layered character chemistry makes it a fascinating watch to say the least.

All around great performances and the gritty style is engaging. Like I said, it doesn't break the mold completely, but it definitely is worth a viewing.
