Severly overrated, I would have thought. The direction of the film was terrific but the performances are hit and miss. Jacki Weaver is great but seemed like she needed to have more screen time because she stole each scene she was in.
Aspects of the story also become a little hard to fathom and seemed too intent on shocking, rather than making sense. Good film, but I was expecting better.
