The Australian answer to "Goodfellas" is a perfect analogy. This disfunctional mid level syndicate family tale is cut to the core brutal and holds no punches back. If you can understand the incredibly face paced thick accented dialogue it will help.
Without a doubt family matriarch Grandma Smurf played by Jacki Weaver is definitely in charge in her 2011Academy award nominated supporting performance. Nothing really new here, just in a different language.
