Review of Animal Farm (1999) by Walter C — 11 Jan 2010
The first full length British animated film based on the novel by George Orwell.
I'll have to say that they had guts to make an animated film aimed at adults and for the most part it worked (some scenes like those with the little duck trying to get up the stairs work against the made for adults feel but offered a break from the tone of the picture.) It isn't the most faithful adaptation of Orwell's novel but they did capture the feeling of the book.
