Review of Animal Farm (1999) by Stephen P — 26 Feb 2011
The film adaptation of one of the greatest books ever has been fairly well converted to screen but does have many a few negatives. Obviously much has been excluded, annoyingly much of the references to communism that was present in the many speeches in the book - and why did they choose to exclude the lyrics for 'beasts of England'?
Orwell will surely be spinning in his grave for the happy conclusion that has been thrown onto the last 2 minutes of the film.
