Review of Animal Farm (1954) by Sean R — 08 Aug 2010
While this film does cover most of the points of the book and you can probably get the gist of the Russian Revolution by watching it. However, I found the presentation of the storyline was slightly lacking in some places, it is in no way as good as the book in terms of story.
However it's only a little over an hour so if you've read the book and are curious as to how the film is set, it's not a bad way to pass an hour. (You can watch it officially for free on YouTube).
