Review of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008) by Karen F — 15 Dec 2009

I don't like chic flicks, but I loved this! For most women this would be a story they recognise from their own lives - we've all done the embarrassing chasing boys thing, we've all done the too-complicated 'get him' plan, we've all been so self-obsessed that we didn't realise how we'd inadvertantly hurt those we'd thoughtlessly dragged into our big plot.

Though it's modern-day, it's nostalgia for grown-ups - well, grown up women. Not a boy film whatsoever, I wouldn't have thought.
