Review of Angels with Dirty Faces (1938) by Shaun P — 22 Jul 2007
It's Cagney, Sheridan, Bogie and the always underrated Pat O'Brien. This is easily one of the electrifying Cagney's best performances and the film brilliantly examins the conception of criminals' idolization with its varied dimensions.
The execution scene still remains of the most memorable endings ever put to film.
