James Cagney's performance gave me goosebumps. No wonder this got him an Oscar nomination! The entire film was brilliant, and the "Dead End' boys added both a comedic and sympathetic effect to the film.
If you like fast talking criminals, 1930's New York slums and a big bang ending, you need to see this film.
