Review of Angels with Dirty Faces (1938) by Garytt P — 07 Jul 2007
A great gangster film that focuses on the theme of how friendship can survive being on each side of good and evil. Bogart, Cagney, and O'Brien are brilliant in their designated roles. The final 15 minutes of this film are exciting, violent, tragic, and heartbreaking as much as inspiring.
