Review of Angels with Dirty Faces (1938) by Bob S — 21 Jan 2008
Melvyn Douglas has a great line in Hud, "the look of the country changes because of the men we admire," which I think works well here. A great film about life long friendships & criminalization.
Can't get enough of Cagney's punchy "Whadda ya hear! Whadda ya say!" or O'Brien's dopey but lovable mug.
