One of my favs when I was a kid. It's still enjoyable enough now. Great cast, decent script, and a pretty good handling of the baseball sequences. Funny now to see Joe Gordon-Levitt as a child actor.
Also funny to see guys like, Neal McDonough, Adrien Brody, and Matthew McConaughey before they hit became stars.
