Review of Angels in the Outfield (1994) by Kenley E — 01 Jun 2008
One of the better live action Disney flicks of the 90s. Kind of the basic Disney/sports flick fair. Teams sucks, they get better, they win. We are all happy. Danny Glover fills the mangerial role well, as does Christopher Lloyd as the angel.
Kind of funny that Matthew McConaughy, Neal McDonaugh, and Adrian Brody had bit roles in this. But, Delmot Mulroney as the dead beat dad? For shame. Had the largest movie premire ever, at the All-Star game in 1994, in the great city of Pittsburgh, PA at the legendary Three Rivers Stadium.
