Review of Angela's Ashes (1999) by Jenna G — 02 Mar 2011
I can't believe I put off watching this movie so long. It is based on a pulitzer prize winning book about a family in poverty stricken Ireland during the early 1900s. But ultimatly it is coming of age story with plenty of laughs and heart felt moments.
And man, this family can not catch a break. It is a littel long running at over 2 hours and 10 minutes.. But I highly recommend it.. especially for people who enjoy movies about culture, history, and a comical side of religion.
