While I'm sure the book has more meat to it than the movie, the movie still is a must for anyone claiming they have the blood of the Irish flowing through their veins. This movie shows that there is more to being Irish than drinking, and that knowledge and an education will free you from the troubles of life.

Anyone thinking the Irish do nothing but drink and party and sing should see this movie. As for me, I am adding the book to my must read list and embracing the intellectual side of my Irish heritage (yeah, it exists you racist bastards).
