Review of Angela's Ashes (1999) by Liz — 09 Oct 2010
Frank McCourt's extremely harrowing true story was perfectly adapted to showwhat the life of his poor family was like. Though it felt long, like it was, it was worth watching to the end. Definatly a diamond in the rough.
If you haven't heard of it, I don't blame you, but you should watch it because it has great direction by Alan Parker, and extremely fantastic acting by Emily Watson and the rest of the unknown or unwatched cast, who are just as talented as any actors today.
