Review of Angel Heart (1987) by Sandra S — 10 Apr 2009

This movie should be seen twice at least to be appreciated it and it's still remains one of the best thriller I have ever seen. And it has an original plot, good characters and great mystery. And Rourke and De Niro show their full acting capabilities! In fact there are a lot more to say about the good script, terrific acting, inspired direction and amazing cinematography.

And I must say it's one of the most creepy soundtracks of all time. Angel Heart is the best supernatural thrillers ever made! A private detective played by Rourke is assigned to clarify the case of a man who suddenly disappeared.

But any detail about what he finds out step by step until the horrifying ending would spoil this masterpiece. If you haven't watched it yet, I can say you won't regret it.
