Det. with MPD gets a job to find out he was a singer who sold his soul to lucyfur in exchange for power and fame, and then tried to renege by ritually murdering another man and stealing his identity. Everyone owns their mistakes permanently.
At least this movie considers such nastiness a bad thing unlike the tarantino eli roth movies we have today.
