Review of Angel, Angel, Down We Go (1969) by Dave S — 03 Nov 2010
A satire without an apparent target or message, a script like particularly vapid beat poetry, and a special credit for the collage artist. Of course I sort of loved it. At least with "Beyond the valley of the dolls" or "Myra Breckinridge" you could at least tell what the movies were supposed to be about, but this movie is authentically undefinable, with no genre, tone, or point emerging from the nihilism.
