Review of Angel-A (2005) by Kyle C — 13 Jan 2008
Fantastic film, Besson creates a wonderful image of finding yourself in the most unpredictable of ways. Great story, although, her being an angel somewhat set me off with all of the language, as a christian, I found myself somewhat disheartened, but, alas, as a movie fanatic, Besson had needed to put Angela on the same scale as us, in that she needed to be relateable to us.
.. but still. Love the texture and feel of the movie though, although it was a little done up towards the end, yet still, great movie. Besson proves that he is a master at his craft, and a woderful storyteller.
