It is quite unusual how a film in black and white can make a film seem more modern. The casting is perfect, every actor fits into their roles like gloves and yet without all the soul searching and humour it still manages to dazzle you with it's outstanding cinematography.
Fans of Amelie should spot a familiar face too : ).
