Review of ...And Justice for All (1979) by Paul C — 24 Apr 2009
Took a long time to see this as I thought it was a heavyweight courtroom drama - it plays, however, more like a soap opera, alternating the pathos and humour with each scene. There is that great monologue at the end, and a few good scenes, which have all now become genre cliches - it just falls short of greatness with some overlong, slow stuff in the middle of the film.
