Review of ...And Justice for All (1979) by Franz H — 26 Oct 2015
Good movie. Pacino was superb and perfect as usual. Jack Warden was hilarious and perfect. Lee Strasberg plays his standard old, Jewish guy. Sometimes I wonder if he just shuffles from movie set to movie set with the same clothes and dialog.
The movie's message is a wide broadbrush that the entire US judicial system is corrupt, insane and unjust, starting at the top with the judges. Yeah, okay. Otherwise it's a good watch, funny and sad and upsetting, and Pacino is a joy to watch.
And you can't miss that famous line "YOU'RE out of order....YOU'RE out of order...this whole COURT is out of order !!!".
