Review of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) by Matthew G — 20 Nov 2012
This was a great Will Ferrell comedy, and I can see why so many people hold it in such high regard. It is a cleverly funny film, with likable characters, great timing, hilarious moments, and it houses one of the most outrageously scenes I've seen in the genre.
The spat between the warring news companies was so random it was funny, and it was a well-done scene; I enjoyed the many cameo appearances on there. Anchorman did a good job of emulating the look of the '70s, and at the end of the day I thought it was a well-done movie.
Can't wait to see the sequel!
