Silly, but funny. This is a hilarious "period comedy" set in the late 1970s. The fashion is spot on and the writing by Ferrell and McKay is great. So many quotable lines and remembered characters in this film.
One of the more enjoyable sequences was the street fight between the rival news teams which was chock full of cameo appearances.
