Review of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) by Sam M — 18 Dec 2013
Hilarious gag after hilarious gag. Seemingly endless quotability. Very absurd humor contrasts with the movie's more serious theme of gender discrimination, and works quite well. Good plot development, funny characters, fresh humor.
This was in Will Ferrell's heyday, and maybe the peak of his movie career. I recommend it to anyone who has even the slightest juvenile side to their sense of humor.
