Review of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013) by Isaiah W — 02 Nov 2014

It's a shame to say but the trailer was way better and sadly more funnier in those two minutes than the actual film itself. It started off well as the crude jokes were firing all cylinders and the weird charm was there but quickly dried up and it seemed like it was trying to be funny.

This was not the casts fault as it was good to see the news team back together but the script was weak and childish, like it was rushed. Brick (Steve Carrell) had probably the best moments but he was overused and it became frustratingly annoying.

The film lost it's way and charm after half an hour or more, and became an empty boring Film. Very disappointed, as it tried to relive the original funny first film but failed completely. Funny to start with but then becomes very dull, although the 24 hour News plot was a smart idea but truely wasted.
