The admirable Anchorman comedy is back in action. The comedy is well positioned as not to overload the audience with gags as if they were a bunch of mindless oafs. The character charm returns and the story is again good enough to capture what this film really has to offer.
Ron Burgundy is portrayed by Will Ferrell almost naturally. The presentation of the comedy and story are both on another level compared to first film. Anchorman 2 is a decent collection of laughs and likeable characters, but it's not quite legend.
