A sequel that absolutely delivers. There were people in my advance screening who were falling out of their chairs, into the aisles. Typically in a sequel like this, the plot is a ridiculous contrivance, but Anchorman 2 is an exception it's a pitch-perfect story, a logical extension of the first film.

Other than one 10 minute soft spot toward the middle, the creative team keeps adding gas to the fire into the latter half of the film and it concludes with a flourish.
