Review of Anatomy of a Murder (1959) by Jason G — 20 May 2008
Outstanding courtroom drama. Jimmy Stewart as an jazz loving attorney was wonderful. Very good dialog, a interesting story on what appears like an open and shut case, and great actors make a great movie.
Some of the questioning and handling of the rape were cruel and insensitive, but I think fitting of the period. Very cool watching what made the movie sensors bite their fingernails back in 1959.
