Review of Anatomy of a Murder (1959) by Kelly L — 13 Apr 2013
Great courtroom drama. It is one of the foremost and best accomplished efforts of depicting the theatricalness of a murder trial and, in particular, the cross examination. The drama and its actors, all with their distinctive features: the clever defence lawyer and his tireless assistants, the impartial and benevolent incarnation of justice (the judge), the relentless prosecutor, the candid jury, all appear in this flawless representation.
