In this classic courtroom drama, Jimmy Stewart plays a defense attorney for a young military man who murdered a man he believed raped his wife. It is one of the best courtroom dramas I've ever seen, with a great cast lead by Stewart and featuring George C.
Scott, a cool jazzy score, surprisingly frank descriptions of rape and sex (particularly for a film from the 50s) and fine direction by Otto Preminger. A definite recommend.
