Review of Analyze This (1999) by Mike T — 04 Feb 2010
This movie works so well as a comedy because it finds humor in behavior as well as situations. De Niro and Crystal play off each other hilariously, and they both turn in fantastic performances. Harold Ramis takes the material to the absolute limit and almost never pushes it too far, allowing the laughs to come from the dialogue and performances.
A well-made, essential '90s film.
