Review of Anaconda (1954) by Jay C — 03 Apr 2011

Oh boy where to start on this one, when you look at the cast list this movie should have been ALOT better then it was. Now I give the director credit for a scene near the start by having jennifer lopez make everyone know just what her best "assets" are.

. as a man I appreciated that scene i'll be honest.. but was it enough to win me over for the rest of the movie to follow.. no. The CGI on the snake is bad.. real bad! some of the acting was not convincing either which is a surprise when you got some accomplished actors in this film, owen wilsons character I really didn't care about personally thought was irrelevant to the film.

Jon voights character he played it well.. and was one of the positives of the film but the ending summed this film up well.. so the "anaconda" eats jon voights character and then chooses to spit him back out 5 minutes later only for john voight to smile and wink at the camera.

really? I mean director.. seriously? im gonna give this movie 3 stars just for J-lo's scene near the start and a few other decent scenes!
