Review of An Unfinished Life (2005) by Vanessa C — 24 Jul 2007
In an era where the average American goes to the theatres to view explosion after explosion, I was so glad that a genuinely solid film could emerge within the confines of believable everyday events. This drama revolves around the tension from unresolved family issues, a matter everyone must come to terms with as best they can.
The characters are as real as the problems they face in a world that seems bent on quashing their happiness at every opportunity. Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman perform admirably as two aging ranchers in a small town community who must deal with the relentless march of time.
