Review of An Unfinished Life (2005) by Nd 2 — 18 Nov 2007
A decent movie with solid and clear themes of forgiveness and redemption, thanks mostly to Mitch. Though of all the characters he had the greatest right to allow the pain of life to prematurely end his ability to live, he embraced pain and showed us all what it means to finish well.
The last line of the movie reveals how Mitch was able to do it: he recognized that this life is not all that there is, and that everything has a purpose in the Larger Story of redemptive history.
