Review of An Inconvenient Truth (2006) by Jaye. — 23 Jul 2006
For being a slide-show presentation, it's a damn good slide-show presentation. It remains interesting and engaging, assuming that you're interested in the material in the first place. The argument it makes is very strong in its logos and its ethos, but it lacks a bit in the pathos.
It is not as emotionally moving as other political documentaries, and when it is, it makes us feel sorry for Gore instead of wanting to save the planet. Otherwise, it is a very well-structured lesson in science.
