6.4/10 --.

Global warming is a hot topic, as it should be what with the endangerment of the existence of all earthly life, and everything. "An Inconvenient Truth" has one purpose, and that is to send us the message that global warming is bad. Why Al Gore rightfully needs to spend and hour and a half demonstrating via power point presentation why and how global warming is bad tells you something about the state of our money hungry society.

However, as far as being a worthwhile documentary goes, the points come across but the method used to get to said points can be awfully dry. You see, Al Gore likes graphs, and as a result "Truth" features a lot of them. He likes them so much, in fact, that he felt compelled to include as many as he could manage with little regard to how much the audience can take without falling asleep. Even though he spices things up with footage slyly taken from an episode of "Futurama," as well as sneaking a little mini autobiography for himself in there, Al Gore still presents to us a whole lot of graphs. And they all say the same thing. If anybody can sit there, and look at all those graphs, and not have figured it out by graph #17, then there's no hope for you.

My take on the topic: Global warming is bad.
