Review of An Inconvenient Truth (2006) by Jaclyn N — 11 May 2011
"The era of procrastination, of half-measures, of soothing and baffling epedients, of delays, is coming to a close.
In its place we are entering a Period of Consequences.".
~Sir Winston Churchill~.
An eye-opener to say the least, even if your not on the "Climate Crisis Bandwagon". An Inconvenient Truth is a thought provoking documentary from Al Gore, its a film that puts the global warming issue under a microscope and really makes you wonder. It takes a look at the global warming crisis from a scientific as well as a sociological point of view, with raw data and options on what we as a society can do to fix it before it's too late. From the melting of gigantic glaciers and catastrophically odd weather conditions to greenhouse gas emmisions and unparalleled warm weather conditions, Gore gives it his best shot to try to turn even the most hardcore skeptic into a believer. I'll keep my opinion on the matter to myself, but this is some seriously compelling stuff and very much deserves some attention. An excellent documentary.
