After watching this documentary three years ago I thought it was okay. I knew global warming was a problem but didn't quite understand the severity of the problem. Now a few years later, my opinion has changed.
Al Gore does a fantastic job not only providing his audience with plenty of support suggesting that global warming is occurring and is cause in part by human activity; but, he also tries to explain much of the confusion the public has regarding the topic.
I liked when he talked about the meta-analysis of peer reviewed articles and stated that none of the articles examined had doubt that global warming existed and was in part a result of human activity.
Yet when examining articles in the public press, over half of the articles casted doubt on the subject. Now any highly educated person would know that a person should base their judgments based on peer-reviewed accredited material, rather on material you would find published in a journal such as Psychology Today.
