Review of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (2017) by Luke N — 11 Aug 2017
95% Filler. I deeply care that the world is acting to prevent the artificial warming of this planet, but this movie has very little to do with that topic. I was expecting to see updated facts, graphs, comparisons of climactic changes over the last 10 years, but that wasn't what this documentary was about.
Instead was a camera rolling following Al Gore through his experiences of trying to talk to people about climate, but not focused on the talks themselves rather just a ton of filler moments. I'm baffled by how little real content was in this film.
It left me with a dirty feeling that Al Gore had very little to say and was just trying to cash in.
