Review of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (2017) by Kathleen T — 13 Aug 2017
I like how it included some graphs and images, plus an inside view on discussions it took to get India to act in the interest of its citizens not only when they are living-literally-under a haze but after flooding (something Global Warming makes worse) hits a major city in India during the Paris conference.
I honestly would rate it a 4 because I think Al Gore is still somewhat stiff but I felt a need to compensate for people rating it low based on lies or ideology-some examples below.
For ratings based on lies the following.:
Robert E (gave it 1 star) August 14, 2017.
"Still waiting for the Polar Ice Caps to melt and polar bears to stop migrating.".
Fact: Arctic Sea Ice has been decreasing for the last 30 years and during 2017 (right now) the amount is far lower than average going back to the early 1980s. (check the National Snow and Ice Data Center for proof).
(by someone who couldn't even leave a nickname or psuedonym) 1/2.
August 12, 2017.
More of a desperate money grab than a movie. There's mountains of evidence that a) global warming is not occurring, b) no correlation between CO2 and rising temperatures, and c) human impact on weather is infinitesimally small. As soon as Gore and other AGW alarmists elites start reducing their footprint, and climate "scientists" stop adjusting and falsifying data, maybe we can have a constructive discussion about reducing pollution.
Fact (in response to a, but I'll give the rest just as much credibility): Temperatures in recent years have been hitting record highs, including this year. This is a way to mark the Globe is Warming. (weather .com has some good articles on this, plus skepticalscience .com has discussion on b and c).
And this reviewer didn't even watch it but rated it low anyway.
Michael W (gave it 1 star) August 11, 2017.
"You couldn't pay me to watch this propaganda dribble.".
Note: I'll argue people should see something before rating it and I saw it this weekend.
