I think I can safely say Kevin Smith is both my favorite director and just the overall coolest person working in Hollywood today. He's an amazing storyteller, his stories about John Peters and Prince had me in stitches.
From this and reading both his books you get the feeling that he's just a really honest and down-to-earth guy who happens to have an amazing knack for really human stories, with quite a bit of comedy thrown in as well.
A great watch- pushing about 4 hours but I was fascinated from start to finish and barely glanced at the clock.
