Review of An Evening with Kevin Smith (2002) by James T — 18 Nov 2007
Hear Silent Bob speak...a lot! While Kevin Smith proves to us he is one of today's more interesting filmmakers, he also turns out to be a candid, honest, and hilarious storyteller who's always on his toes.
In this semi-stand-up routine, he takes on all questions ripping apart everything including the questioners, himself, and his work. Smith is one self-deprecating individual and can easily get off track, taking an answer into a totally different area.
While he does tend to jabber on, he always remains laugh-out-loud funny with meaning to his madness. The biggest complaint here was the fact that there were too many obnoxious questioners asking him too many dick sucking and drug-related questions.
