The performances in this movie are nothing short of outstanding. Carey Mulligan is a revelation, and Alfred Molina is hilarious as her father. Will the relationship between a 30 something man and a 16 year old girl creep you out? It didn't creep me out at all, actually, possibly because Carey looks more like the 24 she was than the 16 she was playing.
